Tulum, Mexico

flights

Guests can fly into either Cancun International Airport (CUN), which is an hour and twenty minute ride to the resort, or Tulum International Airport (TQO), which is an hour ride to the resort. Private cars can be booked ahead of time from both airports (check back for suggestions). We will also coordinate shuttle pickups as the time approaches from the airport to the Conrad Tulum for those interested in sharing rides.

stay

We have a room block for wedding guests at the Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya and we are in the process of updating the room block details. Thank you for your patience while we work with the hotel on this. We’ll update this page as soon as we can with more information.

If you would like to stay for up to 3 nights before or after the block, the hotel should honor the room rate for the block, subject to room availability.

Room rates, including taxes and fees are: $337/night for a tropical view room. Please see the link below for booking.

questions

  • Shuttles will be available to transport guests from the Conrad Tulum to Kima Tulum and back.

  • We recommend staying at the Conrad Tulum since most guests will be here and the room rates will be significantly discounted as part of the room block. The Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort is nearby though.

  • For the wedding ceremony, tropical formal attire. For guys, think suit or jacket + slacks (ties optional and linen encouraged). For ladies, long dresses or formal jumpsuits (tropical colors or fun prints encouraged and no black please).

For the Friday night welcome, beach chic. For guys, shirts with a collar, light pants, linen. For ladies, less formal dresses, jumpsuits, light and flowy.

recommendations

With most of the day free on Friday, October 25, there are many activities in Riviera Maya if you are interested in more than some time at the pool (or spa). Check out a few recommendations here:

  • Río Secreto

It's a stunning underground river with thousands of dramatic stalactites and stalagmites located near Playa del Carmen where you can observe natural history dating back millions of years, as you hike and swim through a route of about 1 km full of beautiful stalactites and stalagmites.
